Solid Waste and Recycling - open from 9a.m. until noon every Saturday.  Bags for non-recyclables may be purchased on site for $1.25 each.  Recyclables (paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, aluminum) may be co-mingled.  

Fire Protection - Meteor is a member of the Exeland Fire Protection District. Call 911 in an emergency.

Ambulance - Service is provided by Sawyer County.  First responders will be paged from Exeland, while the ambulance comes from Radisson.

Law Enforcement - Service is provided by the Sawyer County Sherriff's department.  Call 911 in an emergency.

Scholarship fund - A self perpetuating fund has been set up to provide scholarships for full time college students based on interest income generated by the fund divided by the number of qualified applicants.  Contact any board member for an application or download here.  This scholarship is open to any resident of the Town.

Community Education fund - Another self perpetuating fund set up to provide financial assistance for community education classes.  Contact any board member for an application or download here.  This fund is available to any resident of the Town.
